Poem
While passing through an isolated place,
I saw my reflection between the trees,
I thought of following it,
but it was caged ,
with a lock and lost keys.
It was a black cat who once lived in a kind soul's attic,
thrown out of the roof with broken ribs and teeth.
She shuts her golden eyes after seeing me,
and lets out a deep sigh,
as i look for the keys,
to get her somewhere safe and free.
she tells me to give up the way she had,
for her there's no difference between her breaths and death.
She tells me about a crow,
who once brought her hope,
but mistook her as burnt snow,
and prayed to god to atleast save his pure soul.
I stopped by her daily to keep her alive.
Listening to her screaming that she can never be loved,
for all the colours she deprived,
even hope never perched on her fur,
but her golden eyes showed a gleam of light.
When i sat near the cage on her last night,
I saw the silver moon,
in her eyes reflecting different hues,
she whispered to me,
she'll sleep alone with dead crow's feather for the rest of the nights,
and i sat there alone, crying and sobbing
as i watched her taking her life.

Beautiful !!! if these words resonate with you, i hope you won't mistake the pain for the whole truth. sometimes storms may blurrr the horizon, but they can never erase it. how we view ourselves during our darkest moments is not always the full picture. i hope that one day, you will be able to see yourself through a kinder lens rather than the painful perspective you were hold while writing these lines. May divine light reach you ✨
You have a way of turning pain into something strangely beautiful.
